Office Manager

  • Manage HR responsibilities, including administering employee benefits program, verifying immigration documentation and on-boarding new employees

  • Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office

  • Work with President to develop company policies and procedures; update employee manuals

  • Identify opportunities for process and office management improvement, and design and implement new systems

  • Assist AP/AR manager with invoicing, deposits, copying and filing

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and OSHA requirements

  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary

  • Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate managers when needed

  • Receive incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail

  • Maintain employee databases

  • Maintain database of tools and fleet of trucks, schedule services; ensure they meet safety protocols.

  • Provide other administrative support to company President, as necessary, including doing research, creating spreadsheets, running errands, and attending to other details, as requested

  • Help translate English-language instructions and explanations for Spanish-speaking employees as needed

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish and English

  • Bachelor of Arts degree

  • 2+ years of work experience in an administrative/office management role

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred

  • Must have exceptional attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

  • Clean CA driver's license

  • Must be proficient with Google Suite & Microsoft Office products
